Mission & Vision

Cornerstone New Hope Ministry is dedicated to transforming the lives of ex-prisoners by providing a supportive, faith-based environment for successful reintegration into society. We address the spiritual, physical, and social needs of individuals, offering mentorship, guidance, and a strong sense of community to help them rebuild their lives and reduce recidivism. Through the love of Christ, we provide second chances and the tools needed to create a meaningful and productive future.

Our vision is to create a world where every ex-prisoner is given the opportunity to thrive, free from stigma and barriers, in a community that embraces second chances. We envision a society that supports the reintegration of all individuals, recognizing their potential to contribute positively. Through our faith-driven mission, we aim to inspire systemic change, transforming perceptions and practices surrounding post-incarceration life, and fostering an environment of hope, restoration, and renewed purpose.

What We Do

Cornerstone New Hope is a reentry program dedicated to supporting ex-prisoners on parole, particularly those who have served decades-long sentences, including individuals convicted of serious crimes and those with a history of substance abuse. Unlike many reentry programs, we offer a unique, family-centered approach, welcoming these men into a nurturing environment built on community support and involvement.

Our program focuses on helping residents develop the responsibility, social skills, and job disciplines needed to successfully reintegrate into society. With personalized supervision and mentorship, we guide each individual in their journey toward spiritual growth, encouraging them to deepen their faith in God and believe in their own potential for change.

At Cornerstone New Hope, our mission is to address the spiritual, physical, and social needs of parolees—particularly long-term offenders—ensuring they have a different and more hopeful reentry experience. We provide housing and comprehensive support based on a Three-Prong Approach developed by our founder and director, Jordan Jeske.

Our ultimate goal is to challenge societal perceptions of long-term ex-prisoners and pioneer cultural change in how these individuals are treated after their release. We strive to transform the life path of every parolee who enters our program, offering them the tools and opportunities to rebuild their lives and become positive contributors to their communities.

Our Three-Prong Approach

Structured Living Environment

New Hope provides stable housing which is centered on family involvement and community support. New Hope brings the men to live in the same home as Jordan, his wife and their three young children.  Having the men co-reside with family fosters a much more profound influence on the men than would residing in a sober living environment or even a drug rehabilitation program. The men are released from incarceration to participate in life with a healthy Christian family and witness firsthand a Christian marriage, household (parenting with father and mother involvement) and lifestyle.

In addition, New Hope tailors the program to meet the specific needs of each resident. We believe that the one-size-fits-all approach will not provide the best service for these men as they each have their own history, disposition, fears and motivation. This basis is Biblical, not clinical. New Hope recognizes the residents as individuals within the body of Christ who are to be treated with dignity and potential.

Sustainable Livelihood

The marketability of a former offender can be limited for countless reasons.

New Hope helps the parolees pave for themselves a path of financial stability and independence by providing work opportunities and promoting educational advancement.

To help the parolees become more competitive and create meaningful work trajectories, an emphasis on their individual talents, strengths, and passions is made to build their resume and hone their vocational skills.

Moral Rehabilitation

New Hope acknowledges that the instrument of moral rehabilitation is the hope of and the hope in Jesus Christ. Hence where our name derived.

Accepting Jesus as savior, though absolutely necessary, is only the first step. Building and sustaining a relationship with God is essential for the ongoing process of spiritual transformation as well as long term behavioral change. They help the men avoid missteps in the journey ahead of them.

Statement of Faith

Belief in the Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the ultimate source of truth, providing guidance for our faith, practice, and the foundation of our ministry.

Belief in Salvation

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. We believe that all people are sinners in need of God’s grace, and that redemption is available to all who confess their sins, repent, and accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

Belief in the Great Commission

We believe in the mandate given by Jesus Christ to His followers to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to obey His commandments. We are committed to sharing the Gospel and serving as Christ’s ambassadors in our community and beyond.

Belief in Second Chances

We believe in a God of second chances, who restores and redeems. Our ministry is built on the belief that every person, regardless of their past, is valued and has the potential for a new beginning through Christ’s love and grace.

Belief in the Trinity

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that each person of the Trinity is fully God, yet there is one God.

Belief in the Holy Spirit

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who indwells all believers and enables them to live a godly life. The Holy Spirit empowers us to serve, guide, and comfort us as we seek to fulfill God’s purposes in our lives.

Belief in Love and Forgiveness

We believe in the power of God’s love and forgiveness to transform lives. As recipients of His grace, we are called to extend love, forgiveness, and compassion to others, especially those marginalized by society, including ex-prisoners seeking a fresh start.

Belief in Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.

Belief in the Church

We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe the Church is the body of Christ, of which He is the head, and we are committed to fostering fellowship, spiritual growth, and service among believers.

Commitment to Christian Living

We believe that as followers of Christ, we are called to live out our faith in every aspect of our lives. This includes living with integrity, serving others selflessly, and striving for justice, mercy, and humility in all our actions.
